Communications Network Engineer (Level 3)

Overview:   

There is a requirement for a Communications Network Engineer to support verification activities and the introduction into service of the secure MICT system.

 Major Responsibilities:

1.       Author test plans and test/trial instructions that support the conduct of verification activities.

2.       Co-ordinate and participate in the conduct of planned verification activities.

3.       Author formal reports that document the outcomes of a test or trial.

4.       Author, update and maintain engineering documents that support system verification such as hazard logs, risk logs and verification cross reference matrix databases.

5.       Where required, provide MICT system specialist engineering advice to project staff – including engineers, logistics and executive authorities

6.       Author weekly progress reports on Project activities.

7.       Prepare, review, and amend systems technical certification documentation in accordance with Land Systems Division’s Engineering Management System (EMS).

8.       Prepare, review and amend technical documentation to support the transition to sustainment.

9.       Coordinate and participate in project stakeholder meetings – which includes agenda development and minute taking.

10.   Prepare, review, and amend Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)

 

 

Ability to work in a high security environment with sensitivity reticence and discretion.
