Trusted, proven and Australian, Omni’s experienced consultants work in critically sensitive environments to deliver on outcomes that support the national interest. With over 90% of staff having a background in the APS and Law Enforcement, the firm’s experience-based approach has received a warm welcome in Queensland.
The Honourable Mark Ryan MP, Queensland’s Minister for Police and Minister for Corrective Services launched the opening and said “I am excited about these new employment opportunities for local Queenslanders, and especially for our defence veterans.
“The Queensland government has an employment policy for veterans which is working very effectively, and I welcome any employment initiative that complements those efforts. “I also welcome any efforts that lead to greater security for Queensland and the nation,” the Minister said.
Omni Executive Chief Executive Officer Jon Hawkins agreed, saying “We look forward to continuing to support the national interest from a permanent home in Queensland. It really establishes our commitment to support the growing industries of Defence Industry, Law Enforcement, and our private industry partners.
Omni’s capabilities and depth of experience in consulting, aerospace, security, intelligence and vetting are well placed to deliver against the needs of these organisations.” The new office will provide consulting, aerospace, security, intelligence and vetting services to public and select private sector clients.
“We place strong value in our people, taking pride in our workplace culture and the quality of work we do for Australia.” Jon Hawkins emphasised. “We offer a variety of interesting projects and have a great team with a strong workplace culture. We’re delighted to be here in Brisbane to open more doors in the sector and invite security specialists and veterans to contact us for future growth opportunities.”
