Support for the development of the Land Combat Vehicle Program (LCVP) Programmatic approach as well as production of key project documentation to enable the program to gain Government approval for several key armoured vehicle projects.
The LCVP is designed to deliver the firepower, shock and manoeuvre effect for foundation land warfare based on the Combined Arms Fighting System (CAFS) within Army. CAFS will provide Army with replacement Main Battle Tanks (L907-2), Combat Engineering Vehicles (L8160-1), Combat Reconnaissance Vehicle (L400-2), Infantry Fighting Vehicles (L400-3) and the Capability Assurance Project (L400-4). These will replace the legacy Armoured fleets based on the M1A1 SA Abrams, ASLAV and M113AS4s platforms.
