Omni Executive is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its group of companies with its acquisition of MI Helicopters and ProRotor Australia. MI Helicopters, based in Roma, has been providing the highest quality services to the Queensland energy and emergency services sectors for nearly thirty years; and ProRotor, based in Caloundra, provides outstanding specialist maintenance and custom paint services for Rotary Wing aircraft.
Jon Hawkins, Omni’s Chief Executive Officer said, this purchase enables Omni to round out its Aerospace services to now include both Rotary and Fixed wing as well as east and west coast capabilities.
As a family grown business with a strong emphasis on high quality people, service and strong community engagement, they are an excellent cultural fit and it has been a smooth transition and integration into the Omni family of companies.
Kevin and Sandy Clark, the founders of MI Helicopters, have welcomed the opportunity: We have been building and growing our business for nearly 30 years now and we feel that Omni Executive share our vision of continuing the growth and expansion of both MI and ProRotor while maintaining its values. We see this as the best way forward for both these companies, including expanding into new services and sectors. MI Helicopters and ProRotor Australia will both maintain their current staff, services and locations and Kevin Clark will continue as the Chief Pilot for MI Helicopters.
Omni is looking forward to developing its presence in Queensland and supporting local communities.
